Who they're for
For anyone looking for socks with antibacterial properties. They are well suited to sport.

When to wear them
For sport and everyday wear. The socks are breathable, so they're comfortable even in summer.

What makes them special
The socks contain 14% silver fibre. The silver is bonded to the outer surface of a microfibre carrier yarn, which is soft and comfortable on the foot. Silver itself is antibacterial and helps reduce odour.

Laboratory tested
The antibacterial effect was tested according to EN ISO 20743 against Klebsiella pneumoniae (value 3.39) and Staphylococcus aureus (value 5.96). A value above 3 indicates a strong antibacterial effect. The socks also have antistatic properties: their surface resistivity according to EN 1149-1 is 0.8 × 10³ Ω. Both tests were carried out in a laboratory accredited to EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.

Good to know before you buy
In winter, the silver can make the socks feel cold.

Other versions
Silvernite socks are also available as socks with a separate big toe and as toe socks.

Care instructions
The socks are pre-washed on a 60 °C disinfection programme at the factory. You can machine wash them repeatedly on a synthetics or microfibre programme.
