Merino
Merino wool has much finer fibres than ordinary sheep's wool. The fine fibres bend when they touch your skin, which is why merino doesn't itch like ordinary wool. Merino wool also stays warm even when damp, while being breathable and comfortable to wear.
We make our merino wool products here in Borová u Poličky, where knitting goes back to 1948.
The warmest of our merino gloves are the Wonderhand gloves, made from extra fine merino wool and brushed on the inside with natural teasels. They are made for freezing temperatures and long hours outdoors. For cold weather and everyday wear, choose our bestselling Rider gloves or the Frozen City gloves, made from a blend of merino wool and cashmere. Rider gloves come in full-finger, fingerless and Touchscreen versions. City Walk gloves, with their very fine knit, are designed for the city and milder winters.
We also knit hats, socks and a scarf from merino wool, and now sweaters too.
