Rider fingerless gloves in merino wool, knitted in our own workshop in Borová u Poličky, Czech Republic.
Who they are for
Fingerless gloves are ideal for anyone who needs their fingers free in winter, for example to use a phone, handle keys, take photos or drive, without having to take their gloves off.
When to wear them
For walks, outdoor photography or working with devices in cold weather. They are not made for hard frost: they keep your palm and the back of your hand warm, but your fingertips stay uncovered.
What makes them special
The gloves are stretchy, so they fit a wide range of hand shapes and never restrict your movement. They are designed around the real shape of the hand. The thumb is shaped on the side of the glove, so there are no folds and the glove hugs your hand properly. The little finger sits slightly lower than the other fingers, just like on your hand.
Good to know before you buy
The gloves are ambidextrous, so each one fits either hand. Choose your size by your hand circumference in the chart below.
Other versions
Rider is also available as full-finger gloves and as a Touchscreen version with a non-slip grip and fingertips that work with touchscreens.
Care instructions
- Hand wash by gently squeezing in soapy water at a maximum of 30–40 °C.
- After washing, rinse in clean lukewarm water.
- Press out the water, do not wring.
- Lay the damp item on a flat surface, reshape it and leave it to dry slowly.

We measured the gloves laid flat on a table. The length does not include the cuff, which adds about 7.5 cm. The gloves are very stretchy, so they will stretch a little more on your hand.
How to choose your size
1. How to measure your hand circumference
Wrap a tape measure around the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles (without the thumb). The tape should fit snugly, but not too tight.
2. Compare your measurement with the size chart
Tip: Lay a glove that fits you well flat on a table and measure it across the palm. Compare the result with the Width row.
